Every athlete deserves access to quality training facilities and resources, but financial gaps can make that difficult, especially at historically Black colleges and universities.

While some Power 4 and Power 5 programs have state-of-the-art training facilities, many HBCUs are working with limited space, equipment, and resources. With 107 HBCUs across the country, the need for better athletic resources is significant.

Providing better care doesn’t always mean having the biggest facilities. Sometimes, it means getting creative with the space and resources available to make sure athletes have what they need to train, recover, and perform at their best.
