It’s the values, the bonding, the intentional moments that keep us connected — whether it’s a simple soup night, a hot dog supper, or cousins laughing in the same room.
I grew up surrounded by family, by familiarity, by a bond that shaped who we were.
And now I carry one truth with me:
“The greatest inheritance I can leave is connection.”
I want the next generation — my grandkids, their cousins — to know each other the way we once did.
